   About the Instructor
Katja Borosch is an instructor of Infant Aquatics Survival techniques and the owner of Kinder Swim, Inc. A company that is dedicated to teaching infants and children water safety techniques, developing self-assurance, confidence and an enjoyment of aquatic activities. As an instructor she finds it rewarding to observe children's self esteem grow as they master the aquatics skills she teaches.
Katja and her husband first became interested in swimming for their children after seeing one of them accidentally fall into their pool. Katja and her Husband enrolled their daughters at 2 and 4 years old in water survival lessons and they are convinced that this is one of the most valuable gifts that they have given their children.
Katja has undergone vigorous and intensive training to enable her to teach Infant Aquatics Survival lessons. With 200+ hours of in-water training, Katja was certified by Pedia Swim in Orlando (one of the most leading swim schools in this state for this technique). She has worked with hundreds of infants, toddlers, school age children and even autistic children in the Brandon, Valrico, Seffner and Apollo Beach Area. Katja is a member of the United States Swim School Association, Infant Aquatics, World Aquatic Baby & Children Network (WABC), and holds current certification in the American Red Cross Learn-To-Swim Program (WSI) as well as Infant/Child CPR and First Aid. In addition Katja's background is early childhood development where she holds accreditations from California and Florida. Katja has worked in select child care learning centers and is excited to be able to take her love for children to nurture and guide them through the early years of their lives.
